Contributing basics
Have you read KB? If you haven’t, go back to our home page, get a copy
and give yourself a break.

Contributors will be notified of the theme and time scale before each issue, to be added to the contributors list, please send examples of your work and/or ideas to Hilary Hazard but take note of the following tips if sending articles for consideration:

Stick to the word count. One page of KB is 300 words and epic features are hard work so send a proposal before you bang out an essay.

Use a (UK) spell checker and proofread before sending.
It helps us take you seriously.

Don’t mince words, never use two adjectives in the same sentence and delete all disclaimers i.e. ‘I know I may not be the best person to judge but…’ That sort of thing wastes valuable words.

Emoticons are an unconditional NO and submissions that use them will be shot. Acronyms are risky, and we strongly advise you to think very, very carefully before using an exclamation mark.
